Special Mention from the jury – “Israa Al-Kamali’s project impressed us with its attempt to combine the popular horror genre with an extremely important topic that is unfortunately no longer addressed by the global public: the criminal use of radioactive weapons by the US Army in the Iraq wars. Combining this topic with the human aspect of empathy between two young women and their struggle for dignity in a conservative society, we would like to give this project a special mention.”
